The famous country singer Dolly Parton is making a name for herself again. This time, however, not musically.<\/p>\n

After her courageous beautyouting (\"I paid a lot to look so cheap.\"), the 74-year-old singer is campaigning for the fight against the corona virus. In doing so, she proves once again that behind her big voice there is also a big heart.<\/p>\n

The decision to support research with regard to a vaccine against Corona is a step that, among others, the members of the LGBTQ<\/a> Scene<\/a> should not be surprising. After all, the country singer has often shown that the lives of other people are very close to her heart.<\/p>\n

Dolly Parton donates one million dollars<\/h2>\n

Recently, Parton made headlines by donating a total of one million dollars to an institute currently working on a vaccine against Corona.<\/p>\n

The money - which is a considerable sum - will be used to fund the vaccine project. The vaccine in question should then provide a particularly high percentage of protection against Corona and could - in times of pandemic - finally represent the long-awaited \"light at the end of the tunnel\".<\/p>\n

The reactions from the net were not long in coming. Many fans - of course not only from the LGBTQ scene - are already celebrating Parton as a \"heroine\".<\/p>\n

Parton gets involved - not for the first time<\/h3>\n

The donation in the fight against Covid-19 is not the first good deed that Dolly Parton has done. In her already 50-year career, she has founded and supported many charitable projects.<\/p>\n

It first hit the headlines with the founding of the \"Dollywood Theme Park\". The aim was to create a stage for (still) unknown artists and to enable children to escape from everyday life through various offers.<\/p>\n

The Dollywood Foundation, which was also established in the 1980s, campaigned against illiteracy, among other things.<\/p>\n
